SIAM NITORI CO., LTD. announced that it will receive THB 740,000,000 in an equity round of funding from returning investor Nitori Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE:9843) on June 30, 2021. The capital of the company will increase from THB 172,400,000 before completion to THB 912,400,000 after completion of the transaction. The transaction has been approved by the board of the investor and investor will increase its stake from 99.9% before completion to 100% after completion of the transaction.
NITORI Holdings Co, Ltd. is a holding company specializing in the manufacture and distribution of furniture and home furnishings (sofas, chairs, tables, curtains, rugs, beds, mattresses, kitchen and dining furniture, etc.) and offices (armchairs, shelving, drawers, computer tables, etc.). The group is also developing a women's clothing distribution business.
At the end of March 2023, products are marketed through a network of 902 stores in Japan (773), China (67), Taiwan (53), Malaysia (7), Singapore and the United States, and via the Internet.
