(We specify that Noemi Mondo joins the company's board of directors and will not replace Giancarlo Marino, whose proxies go to Tedeschi)

(Alliance News) - Directa SIM Spa has announced that Giancarlo Marino has resigned as co-CEO for personal reasons.

Marino holds 1.4 million shares in the company and will get an end-of-service allowance and a severance incentive. He also resigned as vice-chairman of Centrale Trading - Cassa Centrale Banca Group where, in his place, the board named chairman Massimo Segre.

Marino's proxies were given to Vincenzo Tedeschi, the company's managing director.

Directa SIM also announced that Roberto Barbero was appointed head of the Private division.

The board also co-opted Noemi Mondo as a nonexecutive director.
