(Alliance News) - Directa SIM Spa reported that at the end of the year, the number of accounts opened exceeded 61,000 to 61,348, up more than 20 percent from a year ago and more than double the number as of Jan. 1, 2020, when there were a total of about 29,600. Of these, 7,849 - up 21 percent in three years - are now accounts opened at one of the more than 150 Banks that have an agreement with Directa to offer the SIM's online trading services.

Total customer assets, represented by the sum of liquidity and financial instruments, reached a record countervalue of about EUR3.5 billion, up nearly 500 million from a year ago, "despite the fact that 2022 was characterized by a generalized decline in the main stock markets, which produced a contraction in the value of financial instruments," the released note reads.

The total number of executed orders is up further compared to 2021 with the number of trades amounting to about 4.2 million - up 3 percent in a year - more than half of which were on the domestic markets of Borsa Italiana where a total of 2.28 million trades were executed, up just over 2 percent compared to 2021

The stock Tuesday trades in the green by 1.0 percent at EUR3.71 per share.
