Vinci has announced that the French Ministry of the Interior, in association with the City of Nice, has awarded its subsidiary Dumez Côte d'Azur and the architectural firm Wilmotte & Associés a 178 million euro contract to build the city's Hôtel des Polices.

The 50,000 m² project will bring together the 2,000-strong national and municipal police force in a single building. It will involve the conversion and extension of the former Saint-Roch hospital, as well as a strong environmental approach.

Work began in January 2023 and will be completed in December 2025. Up to 500 people will be employed on the site, and local SMEs will be given priority. In addition, 10% of working hours will be devoted to social integration.
