Pupils and local VIPs help plant new trees

Date: Tuesday 06 January 2015

We invited some local VIPs and schoolchildren along to our popular Dovedale Park development in Woodville, Swadlincote, to help plant new trees at the entrance to the site.

Town mayor John Perry and eight pupils and members of staff from Moira Primary School visited the development to lend a helping hand to our green-fingered Assistant Site Manager Dave Stone who was planting the trees.

Carl Cooke, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Midlands, says: "As a responsible housebuilder, our developments are not just about delivering houses but are also about creating attractive and sustainable communities for residents to enjoy for many years to come. A big part of that involves planting new trees and providing new landscaping to create a pleasant green environment for the benefit of the new community.

"We were delighted to welcome Cllr Perry, plus staff and children from Moira Primary School, to our Dovedale Park development for this special ceremony."

Although Dovedale Park is now completely sold out, there is a selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes available at our nearby Treetops development.
