Tata Motors Limited is developing an automatic version of the Nano. The company is taking this step as part of its ongoing efforts to revive the brand. It is collaborating with an Italian component maker to develop a clutch-less variant of the Nano based on the cost-effective clutch-less transmission technology, also known as AMT.
