AECOM announced that its joint venture with Stantec was awarded a five-year environmental planning contract by the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific. The joint venture will deliver environmental planning services, primarily within the Pacific Region, in support of Navy and Marine Corps compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Under this single-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a $99 million ceiling, the Stantec GS-AECOM Pacific joint venture will research, prepare, update and review Navy and Marine Corps documents to support NEPA compliance.

The scope of work also includes environmental, facilities and land use planning studies. With a continued commitment to supplier diversity, the JV has a skilled team of specialty contractors, including small, historically underutilized business zones (HUBZones), woman-owned, Native Hawaiian 8(a), veteran-owned, and small disadvantaged businesses.
