Schroder BSC Social Impact Trust PLC - investment firm focused on positive social impact as well as long-term capital growth and income - Says net asset value per share at June 30 rises 1.0% to 105.39 pence from 104.3p a year prior. NAV total return falls to 1.6% per share for financial year 2022 ended June 30 from 6.1% in period from initial public offering in September 2020 to end of June 2021.

Declares a dividend of 1.30p per share, more than doubled from maiden dividend of 0.57p a year ago.

The firm says that GBP85 million of capital has been committed to support 160 frontline organisations, helping 160,000 people of which at least 90% are disadvantaged or vulnerable. Notes that all of its investments align with the UN's sustainable development goals, with most of the company's investments focused on reducing poverty and inequalities. Looking ahead, Schroder BSC says that it "remains well positioned to lead and benefit from further growth of the social impact investment market with an expanding and maturing pipeline of investment opportunities".
