France will not oppose equity rebalancing in Renault-Nissan alliance - Les Echos

PARIS (Reuters) - French President Emmanuel Macron has told Japan's prime minister that the French state does not oppose a rebalancing of the equity stakes that Renault and Nissan hold in each other as the two carmakers seek to reshape their alliance, Les Echos reported.

Macron's assurance to Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was made during talks between the two leaders in Paris on Monday, the paper added, citing unnamed sources.
