Material Fact

Light S.A. - In Judicial Reorganization ("Light") (B3: LIGT3; ADR I: LGSXY), Light Serviços de Eletricidade S.A. ("Light SESA") and Light Energia S.A. ("Light Energia"), referred to together ("Light Group"), in accordance with CVM Resolution 44/2021, hereby inform its shareholders and the market in general that, in meetings held on this date, the Boards of Directors of the Light Group companies approved the re-election of the members of their respective Board of Executive Officers, as described below, with effect from August 31, 2024, to serve a term of three (3) years ending on August 31, 2027.

Additionally, in accordance with Article 9, paragraph 3 of its Bylaws, at a meeting held on this date, Light's Board of Directors unanimously elected Mr. Luiz Paulo de Amorim to the position of member of the Board of Directors to replace the resigning director, Mr. Yuiti Matsuo Lopes, for the remainder of the term, ending on the date of the 2025 Annual General Meeting. On the same date, Mr. Luiz Paulo resigned as a member and Chairman of the Fiscal Council of Light S.A. and Light SESA.

Ms. Natalia Carneiro de Figueiredo, his alternate in both positions, will assume the position of fiscal council member at Light and Light SESA for the remainder of the term or until a new election for the position of titular fiscal council member is held.

Mr. Luiz Paulo has a degree in Accounting Sciences from FACEN and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance from FGV. He currently holds the position of Head of Family Office at Samambaia Empreendimentos e Participações (since 1999). In recent years, he served as Fiscal Advisor at the Fundação Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira - OSB (2011 - 2016), as General Managing Director at the Economic Development Agency of the State of Rio de Janeiro (AD-RIO), was Parliamentary Secretary at the Chamber of Deputies in Brasília and Financial Assistant to the Presidency at Cedae-RJ, in addition to holding positions at Multiplic S.A., Banco da Bahia - BBM Participações S.A., Supergasbras Distribuidora de Gás S.A. and Marcovan Comércio e Indústria S.A. Recently, he served as member and president of the Fiscal Council of Light S.A. and its subsidiary Light S.E.S.A.
