Laureate Education, Inc. announced that on June 10, 2019, after nine years of outstanding service to the company, Jose Roberto Loureiro, Chief Executive Officer, Brazil, decided to retire. Mr. Loureiro provided transition services to the company through July 31, 2019.
Laureate Education, Inc. operates a portfolio of degree-granting higher education institutions (Laureate International Universities network) in Mexico and Peru. Laureate International Universities network offers a range of undergraduate and graduate degrees through campus-based, online and hybrid programs. It has approximately 450,000 students enrolled at five institutions with over 50 campuses. It has two segments: Mexico and Peru.
