Speaking before the Senate Banking Committee, JPMorgan Chase (JPM) Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon said he was deeply opposed to crypto-currencies, which have become an attractive financial tool for terrorists, drug traffickers and rogue nations, enabling an estimated $20 billion in illicit transactions last year. He therefore believes that the government should close them down, to prevent their use for criminal purposes.
