International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE:IBM) has renewed efforts to sell IBM Watson Health, Inc. and looks to fetch more than $1 billion for the unit, Axios' Sarah Pringle reports, citing people familiar with the matter. IBM first explored a sale of the division in early 2021, with Morgan Stanley leading the process, and engaged BofA Securities in late 2021 to find a buyer for the unit. According to one source, bids were due on January 04, 2022, and IBM looks to select the winner by the end of January 2022.
