Henkel AG & Co. KGaA appointed Jeremy Hunter as president of its India operations to consolidate, reorganize and grow the country's business. With a total experience of 20 years in the industry, Hunter relocated to India and took charge of this position after the company decided to divest their Indian FMCG division and focus on the adhesives and cosmetics businesses. Hunter joined the company in 2002 when it acquired Sellotape, New Zealand where he was the General Manager. He has experience working across regions including United Kingdom, Portugal and Turkey. Before joining Henkel, he gained rich experience with Coats Viyella, SC Johnson and GlaxoSmithKline. Prior to his current position in India, Jeremy Hunter was the Country Manager of Australia and New Zealand for Henkel Adhesives business. During his tenure, he led the business through major restructuring with focus on profitability and sustainability during the challenges of the global financial crisis.
