HONOLULU-- Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., a subsidiary of Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: HA) ('Hawaiian'), today announced its system-wide traffic statistics for the month, quarter and year ended December 31, 2019.

Hawaiian welcomed more than one million guests in December 2019. Total traffic (revenue passenger miles) increased 7.7 percent on an increase of 5.4 percent in capacity (available seat miles) compared to December 2018. Load factor increased 1.9 points year-over-year to 85.9 percent.

For the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2019, Hawaiian welcomed more than 2.8 million guests. Total traffic increased 5.6 percent on an increase of 3.7 percent in capacity compared to the prior year period. Load factor increased 1.5 points to 86.1 percent.
