July 13 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is investigating healthcare providers DaVita and Fresenius Medical Care over allegations that the companies have been illegally thwarting smaller competitors, Politico reported on Saturday, citing three people familiar with the matter.
