ISA CTEEP WILL INVEST ALMOST R$ 220 MILLION IN REINFORCEMENTS IN BOM JARDIM-ÁGUA AZUL TRANSMISSION LINE
São Paulo, December 21, 2021 - ISA CTEEP, the largest private energy transmission company in the country, received authorization from the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) to implement reinforcements in Bom Jardim - Água Azul transmission line, in Jundiaí (SP), which is already under the company's responsibility.
Approximately R$ 219 million will be invested in the construction of a 32 km stretch of transmission line, in double circuit, to connect this line with Fernão Dias Substation, with the purpose of providing more robustness to São Paulo system by increasing flow generation from Belo Monte plant, in Pará. Annual Permitted Revenue (RAP) will be above R$ 33 million and the term set by the regulator for entry into operation is December 2025.
Investments in reinforcements and improvements
A total of R$ 2.3 billion will be allocated to the revamping of existing assets by 2026, considering a pipeline of 258 projects authorized by the regulatory agency. Of this amount, 10% has already been executed and the remainder will be diluted in the coming years, mostly expected for 2023.
