BHP Group Limited reported operational results for the second quarter and Half Year Ended December 31, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported total copper production of 424.3 kt against 365.5 kt a year ago. Total Lead production was 114 t against 277 t a year ago. Total Zinc production was 29,929 t against 29,603 t a year ago. Total Gold production was 95,557 oz against 86,518 oz a year ago. Total Silver production was 2,939 oz against 3,243 oz a year ago. Total Uranium production was 943 t against 287 t a year ago. Total Iron Ore production was 66,902 kt against 66,102 kt a year ago. Total Metallurgical coal production was 6,952 kt against 6,300 kt a year ago.
For the half year, the company reported total copper production of 834.4 kt against 742.0 kt a year ago. Total Lead production was 342 t against 655 t a year ago. Total Zinc production was 62,614 t against 62,892 t a year ago. Total Gold production was 186,498 oz against 161,724 oz a year ago. Total Silver production was 5,886 oz against 6,365 oz a year ago. Total Uranium production was 1,760 t against 818 t a year ago. Total Iron Ore production was 131,975 kt against 129,401 kt a year ago. Total Metallurgical coal production was 13,614 kt against 13,015 kt a year ago.

- iron ore (47.3%): 253,000 Kt produced in 2021/22;
- base metals (259%): copper (1,635,7 Kt produced), silver (12,200,000 ounces), zinc (123.2 Kt), uranium oxide (2.4 Kt), etc.;
- coal (23.9%): energy coal (17,937 Kt produced) and metallurgical coal (37,064 Kt).,
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Australia (4.9%), China (65.3%), Japan (7.9%), South Korea (5.7%), India (3.6%), Asia (5.9%), North America (4%), Europe (1.7%), South America (0.7%) and other (0.3%).
