  5. Introduction and Concept:
    1. This Policy guides Banco do Brasil´s behavior. It is expected that the Entities Related to Banco do Brasil (ELBBs) define their own guidelines based on this policy, considering the specific needs and the legal and regulatory aspects to which they are subjected to.
    2. The purpose of this Policy is to establish guidelines related to promote financial education in customer relationship strategy, in its various phases, and to strengthen the principles of ethical, responsible, transparent, and diligent action in the Brazilian banking sector.
    3. The criteria, requirements, norms and procedures arising from this Policy are defined in internal normative instructions (IN).
  6. For the purposes of this Policy, we consider:
    1. Financial Education: a process that promotes improvements in comprehension of financial products and services, with the potential to transform realities, boost informed decision-making, stimulate sustainability in business deals, and increase the well-being and financial health of individuals.
  7. Statements
    1. We offer solutions and guidance for organizing and budget planning, in a continuous and integrated manner, that supports informed decision-making and encourages good practices in financial management.
    2. We encourage saving habits and provide guidance in achieving life goals. We provide support in making investment decisions, as well as the establishment of an emergency reserve.
    3. We contribute to the construction of our clients and users financial resilience, encouraging financial management knowledge and skills, in overcoming challenges, to develop adaptability to changes.
