Siena, 11 January 2021 - The Board of Directors of MPS, held today, announces that it has appointed Credit Suisse as financial advisor in order to assist Mediobanca in evaluating the strategic alternatives available to the Bank and to verify market interests by operators of primary standing. This sounding is aimed at the subsequent opening of a data room.
The Bank also informs that the Board of Directors is scheduled for next January 19th been postponed to January 28, 2021.
