Sharing, learning and exploring partnerships for sustainable development in Davos

Last week, AB InBev joined leaders in business, government, the media and more to discuss some of the world's most pressing issues at the 2020 annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

Demonstrating how sustainability and consumers come first in our business decisions was at the top of the agenda for our delegation, led by CEO Carlos Brito. In panel discussions, media interviews and thought-provoking sessions, our leaders highlighted the meaningful positive impact AB InBev has made in supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and the need for strong partnerships to build a better world for the future.

Here's a snapshot from the week.

Putting consumers first

In a WEF panel discussion on shaping the future of consumption, Brito explained the importance of natural ingredients and how 95% of AB InBev products are brewed locally, giving our company a unique role to be a positive force in helping our communities thrive.

'We all have to be part of the solutions, be where our consumers are and try to do what's good for communities otherwise we will have no business in the future,' he said.
