June 24 (Reuters) - French planemaker Airbus announced on Monday its guidance for the 2024 financial year, taking into account new developments related to its space activities and commercial aircraft business.

Airbus aims at around 5.5 billion euros EBIT adjusted in 2024, with free cash flow before customer financing of around 3.5 billion euros, the group said in a press release.

The French company expects to deliver around 770 commercial aircrafts in 2024, it added, mentioning persistent supply chain issues in a degraded operating environment.
