With 48 hours to go before the end of the first half of the year, Wall Street seems to be running out of inspiration and fuel.

The day ended just a little better than it began, but the gains were not convincing.

The Dow Jones index climbed 0.05% to 39,127, the S&P 500 +0.15% to 5,478 and the Nasdaq managed to gain +0.5% to 17,805.

Over the first half of the year, the S&P 500 jumped +15%, the Nasdaq nearly +18%.
The day's rise owes much to Mongo Db +6.7%, Tesla +4.8%, Amazon +3.9%, Dexcom +2.9%, Apple +2%.
But the scores are rather mixed given the declines of Paychex -6.1%, Qualcomm -2.4%, Zscaler -2%, AMD -1.7%.
The 'S&P' benefited above all from the surge of Fedex +15.5%, UPS +2.8%
