The Canadian dollar weakened against the greenback on Monday, and the yield on benchmark government debt climbed. The loonie was trading 0.1% lower at C$1.3472 to the greenback, or 74.23 U.S. cents, after trading in a range of 1.3451 to 1.3475. Canadian government 10-year bond yields rose 1.3 basis points to 3.558%. The yield on similar U.S. government benchmark debt fell to 4.1676%. U.S. March crude futures fell $1.01 to $75.83 a barrel on Monday.
