Chung Hwa Chemical Industrial Works, Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 512.97 million compared to TWD 428.66 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 38.43 million compared to net loss of TWD 13.65 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.35 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.12 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.35 compared to diluted loss per share of TWD 0.12 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,403.85 million compared to TWD 1,336.51 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 137.7 million compared to net loss of TWD 158.05 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.27 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 1.44 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.27.
Chung Hwa Chemical Industrial Works Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the processing, production and sales of chemical products. The Company mainly provides basic and acidic chemicals, specialty chemicals and electronic chemicals. The basic and acidic chemicals include the sulphuric acid, nicotinic acid, diluted acid, chlorosulfonic acid, aluminium sulfate, refined sulphuric acid, sodium silicate, phosphates and other inorganic chemical products. The specialty chemicals include dyes, pigment intermediates and color developing agents, as well as chemical fiber modified products. The electronic chemicals mainly include electronic grade sulfuric acid and conductive polymer materials.
