New leadership of Zentiva's Commercial Unit in the Czech Republic

PRAGUE - Boris Sananes becomes the new General Manager of Zentiva's Commercial Unit in the Czech Republic.

He succeeds So a Porubska who is taking a global role for the company as Head of Corporate Affairs.

Boris Sananes has joined Zentiva in 2014 and since then discovered the business from different angles. He held leading positions in the company before he was appointed recently as General Manager for the Czech Republic, Zentiva's biggest market where the story began more than 530 ago. Boris Sananes is a French native, studied business and finance at ESC Chambery and worked in areas like Business Excellence, Sales and Trade to learn and grow.

He takes up his new position of the General Manager with empathy and humility. I have always worked hard to create trustful environment among the colleagues, and I am ready to continue with that in the new role, too.'

Boris Sananes is succeeding Soa Porubska who is taking a role in Zentiva's Global Headquarters based in Prague as Head of Corporate Affairs. Sona will represent the company in the Generics Association 'Medicines for Europe' and will return to the Board of the Czech Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (CAFF) as well. She will focus on Zentiva's role as a major pharmaceutical manufacturer in Europe and the vital contribution the company makes to public health. In 2022, the focus will go to the Presidency of the Czech Republic in the European Union in the second half of the year. Sona has done an excellent job in leading the Czech Republic and the Slovakian business and to develop Zentiva's Czech Commercial Unit to a solid market leader.
