Yao Sheng Electronic Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 209.612 million compared to TWD 213.113 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 4.193 million compared to operating Income of TWD 5.427 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 9.285 million compared to net income of TWD 10.564 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.21 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.24 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 567.836 million compared to TWD 631.419 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 561,000 compared to operating Income of TWD 534,000 a year ago. Net loss was TWD 4.229 million compared to net income of TWD 10.966 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.1 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.26 a year ago.
Yao Sheng Electronic Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in manufacture and distribution of transformers and inductance coils. The Company provides transformers and inductance coils, which are applied in liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors, power supply units, notebook computers, mobile phones, digital cameras, personal digital assistants (PDAs), televisions and other devices. In addition, it also provides light emitting diode (LED) lighting products. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
