Worldline will be excluded from the CAC40 index as of December 18, 2023, according to a press release issued by Euronext on Thursday.

The Paris stock exchange operator will include Vivendi as part of its quarterly review of the "CAC family" indices.

Worldline shares have lost over 50% of their value since the start of the year, and in October the French payment specialist lowered its financial targets for 2023. It has launched a cost-cutting plan in response to the worsening economic climate.
