Wittchen Group has launched its first store in Germany, the company announced in a market filing. The group also intends to open its own stationary shops in Austria and further showrooms in Romania this year. The new Wittchen shop in Germany is located in Oberhausen (Rhineland-North Westphalia) in the Westfield Centro shopping centre.

It was reported that the opening of the stationary showroom in Germany is the result of the consistent implementation of a three-step strategy to enter foreign markets. It was pointed out that currently, in addition to Poland, where there are more than 90 stationary shops with the Wittchen logo and Wittchen Travel, the Group also has its own shops in the Czech Republic (7 outlets), Hungary (3 shops), Slovakia and Romania (1 shop each) and Ukraine (10 franchise outlets).
