PhonePe Private Limited announced that it expects to receive INR 82,450,000,000 in funding from General Atlantic Service Company, L.P., and other investors

PhonePe Private Limited announced that it will raise up to INR 82,450,000,000 in an equity round of funding on January 19, 2023.

On the same date, the company has raised INR 28,857,500,000 in its first tranche led by new investor, General Atlantic Service Company, L.P. The transaction included participation from Indian and global investors. The company raised money at a pre money valuation of INR 989,400,000,000.
