Vontobel expands its reach by joining the GLOX Network to provide state of the art execution services. Third-parties will gain access to Vontobel's execution services. Vontobel, a Swiss Private Bank and provider of award-winning independent execution services, today announced it will join the GLOX Network, a leading Multi-Asset Trading Systems provider of Switzerland's MACD AG. Vontobel will receive client flow from GLOX's trading platform customers across the region. While GLOX significantly increases its global execution services to its clients with an additional strong partner.

Peter Camenzind, Head of Transaction Banking at Vontobel said, "Vontobel is continuing to grow its number of institutional clients especially across Switzerland and the European region. Focusing on core competences has become a crucial strategic dimension for banks in the recent years. In our increasingly networked world, the complexity of the individual regulatory initiatives is mounting, and so too is the interplay between them. As a result, ever greater demands are being placed on market participants, with costs rising steadily and the room for strategic manoeuvre becoming tighter."

David Fuchs Head of Transaction Platform and Development at Vontobel comments: "Our partnership with MACD is an additional important step to simplify access to our unique services. Vontobel's state of the art execution service, including Smart Order Routing, Algo Strategies and TCA-Analytics, will find the best execution price for its client flow at any time. Our service concludes flexible, tailor-made solutions which are adding sustainable value for our clients while covering all the regulatory requirements now and in the future in the process."

George Macdonald, CEO at MACD comments: "We are very pleased to welcome Vontobel to the GLOX network. With their broad offering covering many asset classes, we believe that they will add significant value to our customer base as we continue to expand our service. Good cooperation with many, often long-term partners has been an essential factor in our growth."
