New strategic alliance to benefit property & casualty U.S. P/C insurance industry

Boulder, CO, January 10, 2014 - Vaisala, a global leader in environmental and industrial measurement, today announced it has partnered with Weather Fusion LLC, to be the exclusive provider of its STRIKEnet Lightning Verification reports and lightning services to the U.S. insurance industry.   The transition from Vaisala to Weather Fusion as the point of sale for STRIKEnet will occur over the next few months, with completion expected by early Q2 2014.

STRIKEnet remains the lightning verification gold-standard for insurance carriers, fire investigators, and independent adjusters who need to quickly and accurately evaluate lightning claims.
