URALKALIY OAO

Uralkali (LSE: URKA), one of the world's largest potash
producers, announces the decisions made by the Board of
Directors at a meeting on January 23, 2012.
In connection with the departure of Igor Tsuranov, who
served as Director of Strategy and Investments for
Uralkali, the Board has resolved to terminate his
authority as the member of the Management Board ahead of
schedule, and to reduce the number of Management Board
members to twelve. The Board has also resolved to abolish
the position of the Director of Strategy and
Investments.
Uralkali has been informed that Victor Belyakov, CFO of
Uralkali, was nominated to the Supervisory Board of
Ecoprombank at the Annual General Meeting of its
shareholders. Uralkali's Board has therefore approved the
combination of the position of Uralkali's Management
Board member with the position of the member of the
Supervisory Board of Ecoprombank by Mr. Belyakov.
