Union Insurance Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported revenue was TWD 1,848.54 million compared to TWD 2,185.12 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 753.53 million compared to net income of TWD 94.19 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.37 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.42 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.37 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.42 a year ago.
For the six months, revenue was TWD 3,877.34 million compared to TWD 4,420.12 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 815.57 million compared to net income of TWD 306.2 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.65 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.37 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.64 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.36 a year ago.
