Turboatom : The updated museum of “Turboatom” played host to visitors

By the 85th anniversary of the enterprise, a complete reconstruction and renewal of the museum exposition took place.

During 2018, a major overhaul was carried out, another hall was added - the museum's area now exceeds 500 square meters. The exhibits - models of turbines were fully updated. Now there are 4 models of steam turbines in the museum, 9 - hydraulic turbines and hydro valves. Also there is a stand with all types of blades for turbines, which JSC 'Turboatom' produces. All dummies are highlighted and rotated - they let us understand how the turbine works. Informational stands are placed on the walls; they reflect the historical path of 'Turboatom' from its foundation to the present day, as well as the complete production cycle of steam and hydraulic turbines. The exposition of the museum, thanks to visual and informative components, helps to understand the difficult technological processes.

It should be noted that almost all work on the repair, reconstruction and renovation of the museum of 'Turboatom' was carried out by the staff of the enterprise. From designer visualizations to building solutions, from searching historical photographs in archives to installing modern lighting systems and much more.

All visitors will have an interesting and informative excursion. An interactive whiteboard will be a special interest for children, besides gamified excursions.
