In 2016 Transneft Volga Region, JSC fully implemented its Development, Technical Upgrading, Revamping and Overhaul Program.

Under the program 135 objects were commissioned, including replacement of 444 km of oil pipelines. Upon completion of work on construction, revamping and overhaul, 16 tanks were commissioned, 19 stop valves and 10 pig traps were replaced.

Besides, two systems for measuring oil quantity and quality were technically upgraded. Treatment plants were commissioned at Zenzevatka oil pump station (PS) (Volgograd Region) and microprocessor systems of automation were commissioned at Bavly PS (Orenburg Region) and Sovkhoznaya PS (Samara Region).

A new hydraulic test building was built at the Central Production Service Shop. Telemetry was performed on linear oil trunk pipeline portion, in particular at 29 control stations. Two fire water tanks were commissioned at Krasnoarmeyskaya and Krasny Yar line operation dispatcher stations. 164 units of transport and special vehicles were purchased.

Besides, last year Transneft Volga Region, JSC completed large-scale work on replacement of some sections of Kuybyshev - Lisichansk oil trunk pipeline. For the period from 2013 to December 2016 more than 869 km of pipes of 1,220 mm in diameter were replaced at 141 sections of oil pipelines, including replacement of 12 underwater crossings. The Work on replacement was performed with involvement of the technical customer - Transneft PCD, LLC.
