Wolfram Dittmer, a 20 year Thule Group veteran, will be the new Sales Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at Thule Group starting March 1st. Dittmer will assume responsibility for the Sport & Cargo Carriers, Active with Kids and Packs, Bags & Luggage product categories in the region and will continue to report to Daniel Larsson, VP Sales Region Europe & Rest of World. The RV Products category in the markets will continue to be managed by Nils Ihsen.

Wolfram Dittmer has previously successfully grown the Thule Group business in the large Eastern Europe, Middle East and Italy markets as Sales Director, driving distribution and category expansion across the region.

Wolfram Dittmer’s move also triggers the promotion of another Thule Group veteran Tomas Massl, currently Sales Manager Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, to the role as Sales Manager East Europe, reporting directly to Daniel Larsson. Tomas Massl started as a Key Account Manager at Thule Group in the Czech Republic in 2013 and became Country Manager for Czech Republic and Slovakia in 2015 and has in 2020 also assumed the additional responsibility of the Polish market.

These organizational changes come after Thomas Syring, Sales Director Central Europe, has decided to leave the Thule Group after 12 years. Thomas started at Thule Group in 2009 as Sales Manager North & West Germany and quickly assumed responsibility as Area Sales Manager for Central Europe. A few years later he became Sales Director Central Europe.

Syring has played a key role in continuous forward integration in the German market, as well as driving distribution expansion and growth in the region with significant market share gains over the past years.

Syring will leave Thule Group as of April 30 and we thank him for his contribution to the Thule Group success over the past years and wish him all the best in his future career.
