The Japan Steel Works, Ltd. specializes in the design, manufacturing and marketing of steel products and industrial equipments. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- manufacturing of production equipments (78.9%): hydraulic machines, injection and blow molding machines, equipment of electronic components production, wind turbines, die casting machines, equipment for environmental protection, etc.;
- manufacturing of steel products (15.4%): forged and cast parts, flat products, tubular products, thermal and nuclear products, etc.;
- other (5.7%).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Japan (46.6%), China (22.7%) and other (30.7%).
