On January 25, 2023, Rick R. Taylor notified The Gorman-Rupp Company (the "Company") of his intent not to stand for re-election as a Director at the Company's 2023 Annual Meeting of Shareholders scheduled in April, at which time his term as a Director will expire. Mr. Taylor's decision not to stand for re-election was not the result of any disagreement with management or the Board.

Item 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE.

On January 27, 2023, the Company issued a press release announcing the notification by Rick R. Taylor that he will not stand for re-election at the Company's 2023 Annual Meeting of Shareholders scheduled in April.
