Tenryu Saw Mfg. Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:5945) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 200,000 shares, representing 4.23% of its outstanding shares at a price of ¥2,556 per share, for ¥511.2 million.
The company will make repurchases through Off-auction Own Share Repurchase Trading Method. The purpose of the program is to improve the capital efficiency and to implement a flexible capital policy in response to the business environment. As of January 31, 2015, the company had 4,721,286 outstanding shares excluding treasury shares and 852,531 shares in treasury.
Tenryu Saw Mfg. Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and sale of saws and cutting tools.
