Cairo, January 24, 2012: Telecom Egypt (TE) (Ticker: ETEL.CA;
TEEG.LN), today announced that
Mohamed Sayed Al Dessouky, Senior Vice President and Chief
Technology Officer, will retire on January 26
2012, in line with TE's corporate policy and as he reaches
the relevant age.
A replacement for the role of Chief Technology Officer will
be announced in due course.

About Telecom Egypt
Telecom Egypt (TE), Egypt's incumbent telecommunications
operator, started its operations in 1854 with the first
telegraph line in Egypt. Then it was corporatized in 1998 to
replace the former Arab Republic of Egypt National
