There was the labor collective conference held at OOO Nizhnekamsk CHPP, where the management and the trade union committee of the enterprise signed the collective agreement for the next for 2018.

In general, the year 2017 turned out to be quite successful for the Nizhnekamsk power-engineering people. Alexey Yumangulov, Director of the Power Generating Plant pointed out in his report the electric power generated in 2017 amounted to 1,362 million kWh, while the delivery of thermal energy in 2017 amounted to 3,365 thousand Gcal. The main heat consumers were PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim (42.4%), JSC TANECO (35.3%) and the Nizhnekamsk city infrastructure (22.3%).

The effective operation in the wholesale electricity and capacity market (WEM) was facilitated by the operational application of an automated information and analytical system for planning and monitoring the operating modes. This allowed implementing the optimal choice of power equipment for energy taking into account the real needs of the market in steam and hot water.

The director's report also emphasized that there is continuous work carried out at the CHPP to implement the program of technical re-equipment and modernization program of existing facilities. The effected measures are aimed at improving the technical and economic characteristics of the major and auxiliary equipment, increasing reliability and ensuring competitiveness in the market of the electric and thermal energy.

At the end of 2017, amount of the investment program were fully assimilated. Main activities included technical upgrading of the main building facilities (roof coverage replacement), steam turbine No.2, boiler Unit No. 1 (with replacement of convection 1-4 stages superheaters), chemical water treatment equipment, engineering and technical means of protection. There was a video surveillance system installed at several dangerous industrial premises. The work was continued on the development of the reconstruction project for the installed boiler units TGME-464 for the efficient and environmentally safe burning of petroleum coke in the form of dust from the delayed coking unit of JSC TANECO.

Great attention was paid at the conference to the prospects of the enterprise development. The main expectations of power engineers are related to the launch of new production facilities at the TANECO Complex.

Along with production tasks, the assembly also discussed social issues in the most detailed manner at the meeting. As Guzel Gatina, Chairperson of the Trade Union Committee of the power generating station, pointed out in her report, that the administration of the enterprise did not just declare all the items of the Collective Agreement, but also fulfilled its commitments.

Viktor Zubarev, Deputy Head of the Complex Business Development Center of PJSC Tatneft, highly appreciated the current work of the power generating plant. He emphasized that energy is one of the most significant business areas of the Company, and the share of the Nizhnekamsk CHPP in this business accounts for 80 percent.
