Symphony International Holdings Limited ("Symphony" or the "Company") Investment in a Luxury Leather Company in Singapore

The Company, a leading investor in lifestyle and branded real estate businesses in the Asia-Pacific region, is pleased to announce that it has invested in Maison Takuya, a company producing and marketing luxury leather accessories. Maison Takuya is known for its modern yet understated designs and exquisite quality. The philosophy of Maison Takuya is to combine traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques to create very high quality leather accessories that are designed to appeal to the sophisticated consumer for their quality, functionality and beauty.
Maison Takuya products are available at selected high-end stores globally, including Bergdorf Goodman in New York and Bon Marche in Paris. Its distribution channels include 150 retailers in 12 countries, including Japan, Singapore, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, France, Monaco, Switzerland and the US. Maison Takuya's aim is to maintain its high standards in craftsmanship while expanding its selective distribution. The investment by Symphony will hasten plans to expand distribution by opening additional stores in selected cities worldwide.
Symphony's investment in this venture is expected to be less than 2% per cent of the Company's net asset value and will be funded from internal sources. The venture provides Symphony with the ability to capitalise on rising consumer demand for luxury goods and lifestyle products in the Asia-Pacific region, in addition to diversifying its current investment portfolio.
