Portugal's national futsal coach, Jorge Brás, has included a total of seven Sporting players in his preliminary squad list for the European Championships, to be played between the 31st of January and the 11th of February 2012, being hosted in Croatia.

João Benedito, Cristiano, Djô, Paulinho, Pedro Cary, Leitão and João Matos are the seven Alvalade stars selected.
