A Preston pub has undergone a £250,000 renovation and re-opened under a new name. The Wall Street pub, part of the Original Pub Company has opened its doors as Fishers thanks to its location on Fishergate.

And looking to 'reel' in the people of Preston to Fishers is new general manager Andrew Bishop.  Andrew, who has 12 years' experience in the hospitality sector, said: "I'm thrilled to be re-launching Fishers to the public with its new look and new name. The pub is fantastic and the investment will allow the team and I to really offer our Guests a comfortable and contemporary environment to relax, drink and eat with friends, family or work colleagues.

"And with our cracking team, which includes 15 new team players, I really believe that we will get off to great start."

The investment includes a completely new interior, including new HD projectors, furniture and contemporary fixtures and fittings. The pub has also launched an improved and extended menu offering even more variety with a great range of wraps and sharing platters plus more filling meals such as pies, pasta and burgers.
