The Southern Company announced looking ahead, the company continue to base COVID-19 forecast for 2020 on a U-shaped recession with modest economic recovery across service territories over the balance of the year. The retail sales projection for the full year is unchanged with an expected overall decline in the range of 2% to 5% on a weather-normal basis. The company also reiterate expectation that retail sales in these ranges would lower total nonfuel electric revenues by approximately $250 million to $400 million on a consolidated basis.
