Notice Concerning Obtainment of DBJ Green Building Certification (SOSiLA Yokohama Kohoku)
SOSiLA Logistics REIT, Inc. ("SLR") announces that SOSiLA Yokohama Kohoku (80% quasi-co-ownership interest), which is owned by SLR, has received the DBJ Green Building Certification.
SLR will continue to promote ESG initiatives to help realize an affluent society based on the three concepts of connection with society (Sociability), environmental awareness and sustained growth (Sustainability) and awareness of people and the working environment (Individuality).
1. Overview of DBJ Green Building Certification
DBJ Green Building Certification System was established in April 2011 by Development Bank of Japan Inc. ("DBJ") for the purpose of supporting real estate properties with social and environmental considerations ("Green Buildings"). Based on comprehensive evaluation of target real estate properties, including evaluation of consideration to disaster prevention measures and various stakeholders' social requirements including local communities as well as environmental features, this program evaluates and certifies real estate properties required by society and economy and supports initiatives for them.

The evaluated points of the target properties include: energy-saving,resource-saving features such as adoption of sandwich panels, motion sensors installed in communal areas, the replacement of lighting in facilities with LED lighting, installation of water-saving faucets and toilet bowls, and the use of renewable energy; consideration given to the comfort of users such as installation of a Crew Lounge and shower rooms; consideration for local cultures such as conservation of the relief of the cheese factory, as which the properties were used previously, and; superior disaster prevention measures such as installation of emergency generators that can supply power to areas occupied by tenants, adoption of double power supply, and installation of man-hole toilets for use in the event of a disaster.
