SORRENTO RESOURCES Ltd. announced that it has received analytical results from the prospecting and soil sampling program completed on the Tom Joe Property in Central Newfoundland. In total 77 soil samples and 18 grab samples were collected and sent for analysis. The soil samples were collected over an approximately 400m x 400m spaced grid over the Property, while grab samples were collected where outcrop or float was present.

The objective of the work program was to investigate the prospectivity of the fold hinges and structures identified in previous work and their potential to host gold mineralization. 4 soil samples returned value above background levels of gold in proximity to the fold hinge on claim 031300M. Grab samples returned no significant gold results, it should be noted that outcrop in the area was sparse.

All samples were analyzed at AGAT Laboratories in Thunder Bay, ON using Fire Assay (50g) with ICP-OES finish (202-522) and a multi-element 4 Acid Digest with ICP-OES finished (201-070). AGAT Laboratories is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards and certified to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
