Solvay Bank Announces Three Recent Hires

(Syracuse, NY): Solvay Bank, the oldest community bank established in Onondaga County, is pleased to welcome three recent hires to its team: Rachel Perry, Nicholas Shaffer and Sara Stevens.

Rachel Perry joined the Solvay Bank team as a Customer Relations Specialist with the Customer Relations and Operations team. Rachel began her career in customer service in 2009, gaining valuable experience in retail with various well-known companies. Most recently, she worked for a leading marketing research firm.

Sara Stevens joined the Customer Relations & Operations team as a Payments & Fraud Specialist. Sara previously worked in customer service as an Assistant Manager, before joining the financial institutions industry in 2019 - most recently as a Wire Room Assistant.

Nicholas Shaffer joined the Solvay Bank Information Technology team as Assistant Vice President, Assistant Information Technology Manager. Nick started his career in IT in 2015 as a Help Desk Administrator, working his way up through various well-known companies, most recently as a Critical National Infrastructure Senior Analyst. Nick holds an Associates Degree from Onondaga Community College and is pursuing his Bachelors Degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Utica University.
