Slate Retail REIT announced that the Board of Trustees has appointed Robert Armstrong as Chief Financial Officer of the company, effective for March 2017. Brady Welch, the company's current Chief Financial Officer, will continue to serve the company in his capacity as a Trustee. Robert brings a wealth of experience to the company, as Chief Financial Officer of Slate Office REIT, and his over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Slate Grocery REIT (the REIT) is a Canada-based open-ended mutual fund trust. The REIT focuses on acquiring, owning, and leasing a portfolio of grocery-anchored real estate properties (the properties) in the United States of America (the U.S.). Its objectives are to provide unitholders with stable cash distributions from a portfolio of grocery-anchored real estate properties in the United States. The REIT owns and operates real estate infrastructure across U.S. metro markets.
